I'm currently translating the entire myLANsite stuff into Norwegian. But I'm stuck at certain things.

For instance, in the Event List, where you can click a link to see Participants, there's several words. I've found them in the english document and translated them all, but they still appear as english. Why is that? Are they hard coded into some php file somewhere?

Have you finished translating them? Can you send me the Norwegian files so I don't have to translate them on my own? Yes, I'm from Norway

Go to your Joomla main configuration and enable the "Debug Language" option. Every text string should have bullets at the beginning and at the end. If you see a text string which does NOT have these bullets, then it is hard coded and I forgot to make it dynamic.

Please report them here or via email with a screenshot and I can correct them.

Oh, and if you wouldn't mind sharing the translated files with me so I can make them available as a download for everybody or even include them in future packages? That would be great!

Ok guys. I had a look at this and found the issue (and already fixed it). You can check out the changes here:

If you want the fix, download the two changed files from the above link and replace them on your installation (make sure you are on the latest 2.0.4 version first).

The issue was: The labels for the fields is written to the config file, but the config file is never updated and you had no way of doing so. After you placed the fixed files in your installation, it will still not automatically change. What you have to do after placing the files is: Go to the events configuration screen again. You should now see your Norwegian titles for the fields. Then click "Save" to make sure the Norwegian titles are written to your config. After that, things should work just fine.
