So guys, this is it. I think I completed the first of all components for Joomla 1.5.

I went down the "least effort" route, so the thing just works (or should). Hence, you also need to have the Legacy plugin enabled. I tested it on Joomla 1.5.10 and it seemed fairly stable.

So, now I need YOU! And how do you know if you are YOU? I need testers, preferrably a maximum of five people which are...:

1. Very competent with Joomla 1.5 (preferrably, know more than I do ;-)
2. Know some PHP
3. Know how to setup PayPal Sandbox accounts
4. Can set up a Joomla 1.5 testsite somewhere out on the internet (otherwise, PayPal IPN won't work)
5. Somehow familiar with myLANsite (I know my documentation is practically non-existent)

 .. and are willing to ...

1. Install com_mls_events on a Joomla 1.5 site
2. Check through ALL the options in the FRONTEND and BACKEND and report any errors you encounter to me
3. At least one of the testers should try PayPal IPN. I just haven't got the time right now to test this myself
4. Set up some non-privileged normal users and go through the whole subscription process (again, at least somebody should try the PayPal IPN connection through the com_mls_events "Packages" feature)
5. Report potential bugs directly back to me or, preferrably, to the myLANsite bugtracker (http://www.mylansite.org/Bugs/)

So, how do you get your hands on this new beta package? Send me an email stating:

• Roughly which parts you are willing to test (especially if you can test PayPal IPN)
• When your next event is scheduled
• How many people will attend this event
• Whereabouts you are from (just so I get an idea of the timezone differences)
• Possibly MSN/Skype/ICQ/AIM contact details. If you got a lot of cool input, I'd like to chat to you on Skype. Also an opportunity for you to get ideas in (though I reserve the right to just blatantly ignore them all :D )
